Norwegian mountain runner Ida Amelie Robsahm died after a fall on Romsdalseggen mountain. She was 30. Police were notified of the fall, and Robsahm was evacuated by helicopter but succumbed to injuries. Robsahm had recently finished fifth at OCC.
Robsahm had a rapid rise in mountain and trail racing. She won the 47K Chianti Marathon Trail in Italy and finished second at the 42K Marathon du Mont-Blanc. She also ran a 2:29:57 marathon debut in Valencia. Robsahm was a mathematics and chemistry teacher in Oslo. Read more trail coverage.
