Copyright notices
Runner World uses limited third-party material for attribution, commentary, news reporting and discovery where permitted by law. Rights holders may request review, correction, licensing discussion or removal.
A notice should identify the copyrighted work; identify the material and its Runner World URL with enough detail for us to locate it; provide the complaining party’s name, postal address, telephone number and email; state a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or law; state under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that the sender is authorized to act; and include a physical or electronic signature. Send the complete notice to editor@runner-world.com.
Response and counter-information
We review complete notices promptly, may temporarily remove disputed material during review and may contact the source publisher or uploader for context. If material is removed, an affected party may send information supporting authorization, ownership, mistake or lawful use for further review. This process does not waive any legal defense or constitute an admission regarding fair use, license or ownership.
Written notices may also be mailed to NOTICE, operator of Runner World, 1147 W Ohio St., Chicago, IL 60642, United States. Runner World does not represent that this contact is a Copyright Office-registered designated agent unless and until such a registration is publicly listed.
